In the larger and more diverse countries like China and India and Brazil, as well as for the USA, we have segmented the market by region and even, in many cases, by city. For example, Baytel Principals have spent time researching the market in about 25 cities, plus quite a few rural areas, in each of China and India. Both of these countries are extremely diverse.

Baytel developed a detailed quantitative model of each of over 50 country markets. We have segmented each market by product type (placement and technology), by systems vs. consumables, and so on. We use estimates of the installed base based on our research and project market saturation, by economic class of household. In many cases, Baytel has years, often decades, of market data for a specific country market to work with. As such, we can offer our clients far more than just a “snapshot” of the market.
