Consumables & Replacements
Almost every water treatment product contains consumable components — items that must be replaced from time to time. However, consumers do not always carry out these procedures as directed. Some companies have implemented technologies to force or encourage maintenance; some have also pushed annual maintenance contracts.
Consumables include various types of cartridges & filters, membranes, UV bulbs or LEDs, softener salts, and so forth.
